Permanent Make-Up: Eyeliner

Permanent eyeliner – is a form of cosmetic tattooing. The permanent cosmetic application uses rotary micro pigmentation device to, implant pigments into the skin, this is done on the actual.lash line to create a natural and beautiful eyeliner . Since the pigment is being implanted into the skin it must be considered permanent, and the technique is a painless one due to advanced numbing. Due to the quality of the pigments used (not tattoo ink but pigments specifically designed for the face) the Permanent Eyeliner will last 7 to 10 years depending on the skin type  and lifestyle. When the color has faded substantially after, say u years the client will come back for 1 procedure known as a color refresh.

Permanent cosmetics in general, are not necessarily intended to replace makeup completely. When you are ready to kick up your heels and go out for a night on the town, or want a different look, you can apply as much additional makeup as you wish. Permanent cosmetics are a great alternative to those that have suffered from hair loss, cancer, alopecia, over-tweezing, and thinning eyebrows. It is also a great alternative to the busy professional, that needs to look her best all of the time, and also great for athletes.

APPROXIMATE HEALING SCHEDULES – What You Can Expect, Day by Day

Day 1 – Swollen, like you’ve been crying, with a heavier eye makeup look
Day 2 – Swollen, usually for a few hours after waking up, with the heavier eye makeup look continuing
Day 3 – Swelling decreases with a tight feeling.  The pigment begins to lift away from the skin.
Day 4 – There is a “pinching” feeling.  Some itching is normal as the skin begins to flake.  DO NOT PICK AT IT!  Blinking movements of the eye usually removes all excess  pigment by this day.
